Winning is not enough. Of course, we want to achieve sports results (winning matches and championships). But that is inherent to our sport, and we take it for granted. However, we have more ambitious goals; we are excited by the thought that a child can learn to live better through their sporting practice, that a training session or match is an ideal setting to work on certain values, and that football can become an agent of social transformation.
We understand that these ideas might make many people see us as a group of dreamers. We don't mind too much because, although we are aware of the challenges and resistance we will face, we don't see anything wrong with working towards our dreams.
